Just a note to all of those who have been submitting notes of encouragement to this page. Thanks. I just "subscribed" and thus I will be able to share some of my experiences and hear the experiences of others. I look forward to talking with some of you out there in cyber-land. Jen (Hodgkin's survivor...diagnosed 1994)

Hi, my name is Sara and I had a friend when I was young that was suffering from Hodgkin's disease. I was wondering if you could give me some insights into how you were feeling while going through treatment, trying to stay positive, etc. I admire you greatly for your strength, thank you.

Hi Jill! I am 31 and a survivor of Hodgkins as well. I was diangnosed in August 2001 and finished chemo one year ago. I have cleared that one year hurdle! Yippee! I actually get more nervous now than I used when I go in for Dr. appts. I sometimes forget that I even had cancer and I think keeping in touch with someone who has gone through it also will remind me more often how lucky I am. I would like to hear your "story" too! Send me an email if you would like! :o) Erica in San Diego

I was also diagnosed with Hodgkin's in 1994. Have you had any problems so far with your remission? If anyone else would like to chat let me know!! :)

Hi Erica! This is my 1st time to this web-site, & I think it's great! I'm a Hodgkins survivor as well. I was 13 at the time & received MOPP & ABVD (that was the worst of the 2)I'm now 26 & have been cured for over 12 years now ! I would love to be in contact with other Hodgkins survivors. Maybe by sharing our stories we can have some emotional healing. I too most of the time forget I had "it". It was a very long time ago for me, but I agree we need to be reminded sometimes how precious our lives are. I too get nervous going to Dr's, actually I get nervous whenever I get sick, even a cough or a rash makes me a little worried. (Mine was diagnosed by having a cough - it was a tumor around my esophagus that was chocking me!) Anyway, I would love to hear back from you & any other survivors reading this.
