hi sherman,
my mom's cancer has spread to her lymph nodes and as of the last 2 cat scans they have not spread. she has been battling this since 4th of july. i understand how you and your family feel, we are going through the same thing, we just take one day at a time. she hs finished radiation and now will exhaust the chemo regimens. lastly, we will try either celebrex or arrisa, the newest drug with some favorable outcomes. hang in there! lynn0 -
Thanks Lynn. We're all trying! How did treatment affect your mom (was she tired, loss of weight, etc.)? My mom is 70 years old. How old is yours? Sorry for all of the questions.mariecontra said:hi sherman,

Hi Sherman - I also have a parent with cancer. He was first diagnosed with a brain tumor and we soon found out that it is cancer that has metasticized. We are trying to find the primary source of the cancer but numerous tests have come up empty. We don't know, either, how much time my dad has and it is very hard to deal with. He had the brain tumor successfully removed and has undergone 3 weeks of radiation. He is starting to regain strength again but the uncertainty is very hard to deal with. I may not have any answers to your questions, but I'm here to talk to. Sometimes it just helps to know someone else out there knows how you feel! I will be praying for your mom and family! Keep smiling and make sure your mom knows how you feel about her! I just wrote my dad a letter that told him how I feel and things I admire. It was a very bonding experience. I look forward to hearing how you and your mom are doing!0
