Hello, my name is Somer and I had High Grade Osteosarcoma of the lower extremity;tibia. I went through 2 series of chemo, then surgery and four more series of chemo, the process took a little over a year. After treatments is when you really start to learn the limitations of what you can do, it's not what you're use to so the adjustment is hard, but with time, patience, physical therapy things get easier, but the frustrations are still there. Best of luck to your step-father and family, stay strong, positive and don't lose faith. God Bless you.
