Help with transportation to Radiation treatments?

My brother has just been diagnosed with throat cancer. Our 74 year old Mom will be driving him to the University of Washington in Seattle from Bothell, 5 days a week for 6 weeks, except when I can come in to help. Is there a free (or cheap?) service or volunteer system that can help us by taking him in there occasionally?
