DEAR SISTERS:
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SUPPORT. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE TALKED A LOT AND IT HELPS TO VENT THE FEELINGS I AM GOING THROUGH. I AM CURRENTLY GETTING READY TO RESUME MY REGIMENTED SCHEDULE WITH DOCTORS. THE ONLY THING I DON'T LIKE THE HOSPITAL IS SO FAR A WAY AND I REALLY JUST STARTED TO DRIVE AGAIN AND ITS TAKING ALOT OUT OF ME. THE LOVE AND SUPPORT ALL OF MY SISTERS HAVE EXPRESSED TO ME IS SO GRACIOUS AND DEEPLY T AKEN TO HEART. I LOVE YOU ALL.

Kelly, Oh the schedule and doctors...I made fun out of it. I bid on a palm (pda) on the Internet, which was fun in itself and I keep all my appointments in it. It has games on it to help me pass the time too. I also keep notes when the docs tell me things, so I don't forget. Then I deleted things from my "life's schedule" to reduce any stress. I got to know people better who helped me, and try to help those who come after me...0

Hi Kelly, glad you are doing better. Take it 1 day at a time. I live 2 hrs from my Onc., heading out tomorrow morning at 6:30 AM to get that wonderful treatment we call "chemo". Yuk. Got 4 more to go. I listen to a CD , I drive to the clinic, my husband drives back, we stop for lunch and try to make the best of it. As soon as I get home I am in bed and hope for the best.
In time you will adjust to your new home and it will get a bit easier. You have your hubby by your side and that is important. If you are lonely, talk to us here. I think of you and send you lots of good wishes and hugs. You take care of yourself, no sniffels...OK. Love Emmi0 -
You do sound better Kelly and I am glad that you and your hubby are talking because keeping things inside often times adds stress that we just don't need. Kelly you too will get through the stages one step at a time, just keep on keeping on. Don't be too hard on yourself, pampering and becoming the focus, is what we need to do when so often our priorities have been so different.
Be good to yourself always,
Tara0
