deproluprin, awaiting hysterectomy and off of morphine
after the hysterectomy i cant take hormones so whats next.. i grow a beard!!!i hope it's going to be better and not worse after the hyster. dr says it'll be a laproscopy assisted complete removal.. i was est neg on my breast cancer and not on anything but deproluprin now.. i really feel like i need some kind of meds like valuim or something any thing but morphine it's taken me two months to get off it and i feel like sh.///.
i cant start drinking again like i use to 13 months ago.but when am i going to feel normal!!! i hope this hysterectomy is the right thing to do, they did 4 different ultrasounds and say i had cists that dissapeared but that i have two fibroids and my ca 125 was 43 s/b 35 the biopsy was neg. the dr says hyster. would be best. but that hot flashes will be worse afterwards and she will check with my onocologist about what i can take.
im 39 and feel like im 80

Hi
I didn't have a hyserectomy but the chemo put me in menapause and the Tamoxifen gives me hot flashes. I was on Zoloft for depression and happened to read an article about Effexor which is also an antidepressant. Trials have shown that Effexor can reduce the frequency and severity of the hot flashes. The Phyciatrist had not heard of it but looked it up while I was in his office ... found the info and agreed to switch me. I'm on my third week and I do think the flashes are better and I don't think it has disrupted my depression control. If you are anxious it may help to take this med for both issues. Good luck. Keep on the sunny side. Jamie0 -
K, this is one of those times you just have to stand back, breathe deep and know you are alright. Follow your heart, your gut... deep inside, you know what is right. You are strong, you'll get thru' and things will smooth out for you. Believe.
