Hi all: Just wanted to share with you that I just "passed" my three month check up and got a clean bill of health. I finished my chemo in late Jan. 2002 and my raditaion in late March 2002. I haven't been to my onclogist's office in three months and it was HARD going back seeing the people/patient in various stages of their illness/treatment. I could see by looking into their faces reading their emotions and remember being there. I don't know if it will ever get easier. A dear friend of mine told me that cancer was a four letter word and I believe that to be true.
For all of you that are undergoing treatment. Hang in there! There is a light at the end. You will be a survivor. This to will pass. Lean those around you that love and support you. Hang in there.
For those of you that are survivorss--way to go.
