Has anyone had experience with Topotecan given for recurrent small cell lung cancer?

The first line chemo was cisplatin and etoposide given with radiation.

Hi my mother took topotecan and It did'nt work at all, but I guess some have had positive results from it.
Somewhere it must have had good results, or else it would'nt be given for sclc.

I forgot to add that her first line of treatment was the same as yours also.
I read somewhere, but who knows where or if it's true that sometimes now there giving the same chemo for re-occurance as they did the first time around, only if you had good results (remission).
