Stem Cell Transplant Experience

Hello Everyone. I was diagnosed in late 98 with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. After 8 cycles of CHOP, they decided to do a Autologous Stem Cell transplant. Unfortunately, after a year, my cancer had returned. Actually, now I have Hodgkins Disease. But if anyone is curious about or has to go through the transplant procedure and wants to talk, please let me know.

Cancer may be part of my life. But it will never control it.

    Hello Bob,
Last year in July my wife discovered lumps in her neck while recovering from gall bladder surgery. Turned out to be NHL. Now, almost one year later, 6 rounds of chemotherapy, 7 rounds of Rituxmab, the cancer has never gone away. The next step seems to be an Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and it won't be long. I would be grateful for any information regarding this treatment. I you would like to send me an email I would be happy for you to do so. megregg@charter.net. Thank you so much. Myron
