Hello. I'm 8+ months out from bil mastectomies (DCIS; stage 0) and have finished my reconstructions except for the tattoos. On my last visit to my pastic surgeon I showed him a little BB like lump beneath one of the mastectomy scars thinking he would just tell me it's a suture. He sent me off to my surgeon who will do an excisional biopsy 8/1. Scary! I have worries about both the outcome of the biopsy as well as the risk to my implant on that side. Both MD's think this will not be malignant and I trust them and agree with them that it can't be ignored.(I can't ignore it.) Has anyone ever had this happen or heard of it? Any thoughts would be appreciated; you've all been so good about sharing your experience and I thank you for being there. Take care. Julie
