I have had that prior to breast cancer for years off and on. I did go to the doctor once about it and now I don't remember what he said it was ... it was a long time ago and he didn't seem concerned. Please let me know what your Doc says. Good luck. Jamie

RUN DON'T WALK to your doctor, Shelrae. Crusty nipple was my only symptom for a year and my dr. had me putting cream on it. After reading something on the internet, I became insistant on treatment and in January I was diagnosed with a cancer called Paget's Disease of the Breast. I had a mastecomy with a TRAM reconstruction in February and I just finished my third of four cycles of Chemo yesterday. Don't let the dr's disregard this, especially with your history. I am wishing only the best for you. Please keep in touch. Lyn

Please see your oncologist immediately. I noticed crustiness on my nipple a month before I was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer. That was 6 years ago, and, thanks to a wonderful team of doctors, I'm doing fine now. Neenie
