Hi, my name is Netter and I live in Seattle, WA. I was diagnosed with AML, subtype M3 on 10/31/02. Since then I've gone through 4 rounds of chemotherapy, finishing up at the end up April. I was doing really well until 2 weeks ago when I developed blood clots in my neck, shoulders and chest. I ended up in the ICU and had three procedures to remove the clots, including dripping clot-busting drugs into me through catheters and an angioplasty. I'm wondering if other people have had this happen and how it turned out for you. I'm now taking blood thinners to keep the clots from coming back. I'm a little worried because I just don't know what to expect now. My email is a.hansen@attbi.com. Thanks!
