Effexor???

Hi ,just came back from onc and he put me on Effexor XR, was wondering if anyone is taking this? He thinks because of me not sleeping that its making me feel so awful during the day,the achiness, and it will help with any depression if thats what else i'm dealing with. I am hoping this helps.     It is true how much the body can be effected by not getting enough sleep or not reaching the spot where we are totally at rest and cells are healing. I take amitryptoline which helps me to sleep better.

    I have never taken it but know some folks who have. Just keep being mon itored so they get the dosage correct. And remember, it takes anti-depressants sometimes a week or up to 3 weeks to really start making a big difference. Please let us know how you're doing! God bless, Cyndi
