I have just finished my radiation theropy. I am trying to find something to put in my bras and my bathing suit. I don't want to wear the special bra with the pocket and I don't want to spend $450 for something to put into my bathing suits. This may sound stupid but I just can't figure it out. My husband says he used to buy these rubber ones that he put in his baseball mitt which is no help!!!!! I figured someone on this message board must know the secret.

Hi,
Did you check with your insurance to see if they cover a prosthesis and bras with the pocket? Mine did and alot of insurances do cover these. While I was in the hospital they gave me a hand made one that just had cotton in it.Here where I am they have shop that specializes in all you need after a mastectomy.I am not sure if this was any help but let me know what you find out.
God Bless

Maybe you would find something that pleases you in the TLC catalog. If you are not already receiving one, call 1-800-850-9445. They carry breast forms ranging from latex, foam to silicone. They do carry special bras with pockets as well but some of us sew pockets in our own. I hope you find something that you like soon.
Take care. Judy -
