Hello everyone. I am interested in any infor
mation about reconstruction. I am 18 months past my mastectomy and am ready for my recons
truction. For example, I know they have to
put in tissue expanders, and I assume that is
done under general anesthesia, but what about
all the further work. How many times are you
subjected to general anesthesia? What happens after the tissue expanders are inserted. What is the safest procedure--implants or tram-flap? Please email me at bahrbells@worldnet.att.net with any information. It would be enormously helpful to alleviate my fears. I am not new to this site, but I don't post much. I enjoy reading all the wonderful stories of all my sisters here. And I cry at the sadness of it all. Thank you for being here for me.
