Try searching on desmoplastic neurotrophic melanoma or desmoplastic melanoma. The definition is, an uncommon type of melanoma that appears as a scar of keloid like abnormality on the head and neck area of sun damaged skin of the elderly.
    Hope that helps.

Thank you-My 40 yr old son has had surgery and just finished 7 weeks of radiation for this type and I am hoping to find info on new immunotherapies. Trying to locate centers that specialized in this type of rare melanoma.
