Hi Karin,
I did my 1st Komen Race for the Cure on May 4th,in NC. It was unseasonably chilly and rained. Over 4,000 soggy participants from every walk of life were there. All were united against this killer so that nobody would have to endure it ever again. Survivors and participants mingled freely, exchanging information, stories, grief, and most of all, hope. It was uplifting and made me more determined than ever to strike whatever blow that I can against cancer.
