Bone Marrow Transplant

In November last year I had my bone marrow transplant. I was my own donor. It's been 5 months since my last treatment and I'm doing great. I'm glad it's all over and I'll never do that again.

I am so glad to hear of your success. I wish you nothing but the best. I had an Autologous Stem Cell in April 2000 and I'm getting ready to undergo a Mini Transplant in June. I hope my success is as great as yours. Take care.

I'm so happy for you! I'm getting one soon and I feel like I'm strong but know I'm just so scared especially when I start reading information! I may need a donor!

    to be scheduled for

I was supposed to have gone through the Stem Cell transplant last Nov using my own t-cells. That was cancelled because of abnormal cells in my marrow biopsy. Just had another marrow biopsy done and hope to hear soon when it will be re-scheduled. I love hearing about people who have completed the process and even the recovery.
