Hi. My name is John and I had a sarcoma in my right leg in 1995. I had the tumor removed and had radiation and different types of chemotherapy, including a stem cell transplant. I will email you my private email and if you are still looking for someone to talk to or for any reason you want to communicate then please contact me. The cancer and treatment has changed my life and I am sure it has changed yours. I hope you find yourself well enough to email or call me if you want to. Hang in there. J. Thomas0

I had a lymph tumor removed in my groin which was malignant. The primary source is still unknown. I have not went through chemo or radiation. I have been seeing a sarcoma research specialist at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. I had the lymph removed and also had a complete historectomy. My hormone receptors are so high, I can not go on any hormone therapy. So I have been in limbo for a full year and left untreated. They have found things on my quarterly CT scans, pet scans sometimes are ordered, but still nothing. The wait for the unknown is very scary. Sometimes it leaves me spinning in circles with my life.jcthomas said:Hi. My name is John and I had a sarcoma in my right leg in 1995. After CT scans left me in limbo for Christmas, I decided that worry and fear are counter productive. Your mental health is more important than the medicine. Life is and always was unpredictable. Let it go, moment by moment to a higher power. Were not in control anyway.
Easier said than done! I would like to keep in touch with more who are going through the same battle. Explain soft tissue sarcoma? What are the symptoms? Please keep in touch.0 -
I have just posted for my mother. Do you think the stem cell, or T-cell treatment is worth it for a everyone?jcthomas said:Hi. My name is John and I had a sarcoma in my right leg in 1995.
