Neutropenia & pneumonia again

Dear all

Just to let you know I have been hospitalized with neutropenia & pneumonia again. I have been let out for a few hours today but have to back in tonite for more tests tomorrow. I realise this is just something that goes along with the territory of chemotherapy so I can accept it but it's hard on the family. I have 4th Taxotere on Thursday (if white counts are up a bit) but am still on intravenuous anti biotics at the moment except the cannulas keep tissueing on me & I need a new one every day. I have fragile veins they say. Will be in touch when I manage to escape the hospital. Love to you all. Pam

    Hang in there Pam. Hope the white counts stay up there. Is that the last Taxotere? I am really well, just working too damn hard!! I try to come here every few days now, so will catch yu again...Love Susan in Canada
