Thank you to everyone who responded to my Taxol itching dilemna. Unfortunately it got worse and I ended up being admitted the day I posted that note. Thankfully I was out two days later. Due to the reaction the last Taxol treatment has been cancelled. So its on to radiation now.
For those of you that did radiation any advise will be greatly appreciated as to what to expect etc. I hear that its a walk in the park after AC and Taxol chemo!!
Also I have my follow up appt with my oncologist tomorrow and would like to know what to expect with follow up blood tests etc. How often are you guys getting checked out after treament? Is it every 3 or 6wks? Are you having mammograms more often? I'd like to know asap.
THANKS AGAIN TO YOU ALL FOR ALL YOUR HELP MAY WE ALL BE BLESSED IN 2002.

After AC and Taxol it is a walk in the park. Except the way I had to lay on the table aggravated a old ruptured disk in my neck - which was a pain and 1/2. My check ups have been every 4 months since Oct 2000 with my next one Jan 21. Mammograms have been every 6 months. Good Luck - Debw0

I did not have radiation the DRs. orginally said that I would have to have it but changed their minds, that was an answer to prayer. I did have chemo 4 of adrimicin and cytoxin followed by 4 taxol. My treatment ended Nov 15 2000 and since then I have to have a pet scan every six months and a mamogram once a year. I see the onocologist about every three months. I will keep you in my prayers take care and God Bless You Debbie0
