My dear father was diagnosed with cancer today. After having removed a polyp from his lung 1 metastasis was found there. I was told by a doctor that it looked to be a "solitar" metastasis and the primary source (which is supposed to lead to the stomach) must be found as soon as possible. Now he will be examinated until the source is found - operatible or non-operatible.
I am devastated and very, very worried for my father as well as my mother, who is taking it very badly.
If you have any kind of experience of similar case and treatment, I would appreciate your comment, courage, help, opinion.
Thank you.
