Questions/questions about breast cancer

I believe it shows up generally as a white area and that usually the black spots are fluid-filled cysts. At least that's what they told me about what they and I were seeing whenever I had sonagrams. However, they did want to remove the fluid from some of my cysts (with a needle biopsy) because they said sometimes there can be some cancer cells in the fluid (there wasn't). They may have been more concerned about that with me because I did have a cancer in one of my breasts. Ask your radiologist (the person who's reading your sonogram) what s/he thinks and why s/he thinks it; s/he should be explaining your tests to you. Good luck to you. - GayJ0

Thanks so much for taking the time to answer. My spot on the ultrsound was black. I had the cyst removed yesterday.
