HI all there again!!!
Well, you all told me to use the wheelchair in the relay, but, well, you know me, I walked the first lap and then walked six more laps with other members of my team throughout the night. I know, I know, I already got hell from my husbands secretary!!
But I felt so good I just had to go go go!!
It was great, there were 75 teams of 15 people each, 9 live bands, food and lots of laughter and tears. We had the bagpipes, and during the luminary ceremony, the bagpipes played a dirge, and of course I bawled, but so did everyone else around me. It was beautiful, and I cant wait until next years!! Our city of 55,000 people raised one hundred and fifty five thousand dollars. Which is not too bad. I think next year will be even better as this was the first time for this in our city and once word gets out it will be more popular. I came home at 5:30 am , showered and slept until 2:oo pm. It rained like a bugger about 3:00 am , so we crowded into the tent and curled up in sleeping bags. I am on my way to bed now, I am tired, but a good tired. I will start cycle number three on Friday.
Have you ever heard of NONI JUICE? it is an all natural juice made from the NONI plant from Tahiti. Apparently cancer researchers are studying this in conjuction with chemo and are having some amazing results.
I have three bottles here and am going to try it. I will let you know what my scan says in July.
Nancy, I did not get your photo yet, I wish I could shed 50 lbs!!!! Hopefully I will not get the hand foot thing again, then I will start walking. I love to walk, my husband has a hard time keeping up with me.
Has anyone heard from Wendy in California?
She is probably busy with the baby. I did not read any of the other posts yet, but will soon.
Well, I am off to beddy by!!!!
You all take care and kick some cancer ****!!!!
I love you all, take care and will check back through the week.
all my love, hugs and kisses.

Hey Rosa! Congratulations! You're awsome!!!! Great job! I did our Relay a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, our rain started by 9 PM and continued throughout the night so noone really walked after the firts 2 hours! Our Relay was a much smaller scale. We had only about 20 teams of 8-15 members. Most of the teams abandoned the track due to the severe weather. The entertainment continued on until about midnight but noone there to really listen. My team did stay and I must admit, we had fun even though we stayed in a tent that leaked and therefore got no sleep! Our Relay did earn $80,000 , so we didn't do badly at all! It was well worth all the preparation. Next year WILL be better! I've e-mailed Wendy several times but haven't heard from her. Hope all is well! Keep in touch! Cathy(cruf)0

Rosa sweetie,
You are something else! Well, there's no stopping you so I hope you are giving your feet and YOURSELF sufficient rest in preparation for Friday.
I think of you often but this Friday we will both be on cycle #3 - you with xeloda, me with taxol.
Take care, love and hugs, Jean0 -
I have been taking Morinda Tahitian Noni Juice (Nectar in Canada) now for over a year and it has done things medication could not do for my pain. I live vertually pain free now, something three medications together could not do. I am very impressed with my emotional level, my highs not so high and lows not so low. I also have more energy and stamina allowing me to return to work full time something most of us have problems doing. I had cancer but am left to live life with 5 diseases and was insistant on having quality to my life. I believe in this Noni fruit and suggest you all look into this amazing natural product.

or just search NONI FRUIT on internet and you will be amazed at all the information available. I can't say enough about what this product does for me day in and day out. People now take it because they see what it has done for me over the year.
Best to you Tiger,
Congradulations on your determination.
You are truly an insperation to us all.
Glad your back.

Hi Rosa, WOW CONGRATULATONS! Sounds like you did wonderful on your walk. I have not been on here much lately either. There is lots of new people. I have been gone seems more than I have been home lately. I am tired & ready to stay home for a while. My yard & garden definately need some attention. Good luck with your treatments. I will keep you in my prayers. Judy0

I should have known you would WALK...... But if it made you feel good about doing it, then I am glad you did...You just AMAZE me with that iron will of yours. I have heard of the NONI. An old man I ran into said it cured his wife's lung cancer, and he gave me some info about ordering it. What does it taste like? I will order some, too. What can it hurt? Love you, Nan0

Hello Rosa. Well, really, Tiger is your best name. I believe I told you that before. Congratulations on the run. There is going to be one here in Houston in October, of course. Hopefully, I can participate in it. I'll just tell my orthopod that I need an injection in my knee so I can do the run. No, I will not run. I have not done any running in about 15 years. I would really have work out and get prepared, maybe two years' worth. Let me know what has been going on with you and the others since I left. I am back to stay, fit and full of piss and vinegar. No more depression, thyroid is fixed, energy is coming back, and my attitude is back fulltime. I have found a lump on my chest wall, but my surgeon said that it might be a lymph node, but we will find out for certain on July 2nd. I'm anxious to hear from all of you guys. Love you. Jane0
