CFM is Cyclophosphamide(Cytoxan), Fluorouracil (not sure of the spelling but it's called 5-FU), and methotrexate. This combo was used before AC and is still used. The doctoer at the south pole got that when she ret'd. Usually AC (Adriamycin & Cytoxan) are used now, but they usually give the MUGA test to your heart first and if that indicates your heart is not strong enough, then CFM - usually called CMF.
Sometimes CAF is given in place of just AC.
Xeloda is an oral pill given for metastatic cancer and converts in the body to 5-FU.
How do I know this - the first onco I had explained all the possible combinations of treatments.
