I'm trying to find out if chemical exposure caused my cancer

I had colon cancer three years ago. I've been told radiation can cause colon cancer (you can get VA benefits if you were on a submarine and get it). I need to know if exposure to massive amounts of 1,1,1-trichloroethane and tricloroethylene can cause it. I was told these chemicals enter the pores of your skin and cause cancer; but, no one told me what types they cause. Any help would be appreciated; especially if someone has references to technical data on this. thanks. my e-mail is: scubadiver_bob@yahoo.com
