My husband was diagnosed with melanoma last September. It was a horrific shock to both of us as we are in our early 30's. It has been tough to deal with this and so far I've been ok. This afternoon though I finally fell apart and if anyone wishes to discuss how they are dealing with melanoma or a loved one who has it please don't hesitate to get in touch.

I'm in my late twenties and I have melanoma cancer. I was diagnosed last Jan. 2000. I was just married six months prior and have a 6 year old daughter. I lost my mother when I was 7 years old. I totally understand your concerns and fears. I still have a hard time dealing with the cancer. It makes me feel like a wimp. I was never a lazy person or an indoor person. I have a hard time remembering that I have cancer. At my work, I try to hide the fact that I am sick. My husband took care of our little girl and I went to live with my dad through my surgeries and treatments. I hate the fact that I had to move away from my family to get well. I will never be the same. Im trying everyday to be positive. If you need to talk more please feel free to contact me at my regular email Pink@journey.com heather0
