Hi, my name is Corrine. My son who is 5 years old, was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (NHL), on Sept. 6, 2000. He is in his second Phase of chemotherapy. If anyone has anything to share, I would welcome your input. Thanks.

Hi sorry thats its almost 10 years laters to the day, but I wanted to let you know that your beautiful son has touched my heart in ways only you could know. Thank you. My son's cancer is a different form of (NHL) than your son-he has Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma and he is 10 years old. I just wanted to let you know that we are always with you and your son. Once again, thanks back to both of you.

    PRIMARY CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM LYMPHOMA

    HI

I just joined today so sorry this is 6 years late. I  didnt want to intrude on your life but felt maybe I should reach out

First off I hope your son is doing well these days .

I was 29 in 1993 living in sacramento when I was diagnosed with PCNS  which you know is very rare. I was just a kid myself  when I got sick  and seeing your son at age 10 having to go through this I couldnt even imagine ,so I had to say hi

I fitst got treated  at Stanford  hospital where my doctors gave me 4 months to live with traditional treatment , but they  had just got a letter from the National institutes of Health  asking to refer patients to them if they had PCNS

THE NIH in Beshesda Maryland had just came out with a pilot study that I  eventually got accepted to. Because of that study and its success , the protocal  was released to be used throughout the US.

24 years later Im still here doing great  , no lapses in remission  living a very normal life thankfully.

I truly hope your son is doing well and wanted to convey to him while he should appreciate every day ,expect many more years.
