Do any of you know a insurance provider for someone who is 61 yrs. old and 5.5 yrs. cancer free? I am paying around $300 a month now and have a $5,000 deductable. The bad thing is office visits and medicine and sameday surgery does not apply to the deductable. What kind of insurance do some of you survivors on here have? Or does anyone know of somewhere I would be able to get ins.? Any help in the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

insurance is a major problem, you have to get into a "group" that accepts pre-existing conditions,
i'm a nurse and it's hard, can't job hunt too easily and still the monthly premiums can be high,
don't give up, search around, what field are you in?? can you even get into some of the bigger retail stores?? like walmart?? or something??
