Test on Friday

I'm not looking forward to my CT Scan with contrast on Friday. Doc can't "guess" what might be causing the pain in my lower left side. She first thought kidney stones - not. Sure glad I have you ladies to talk to. As I drink my barium stuff - I'll toast you all. Love Deb

    Good luck Deb, isn't that stuff great? I have had the contrast ct scan 4 times now and that drink just does not get any better!! Let us know once you get your results back, the waiting is a pain in the behind, but take heart, everything will be fine.Positive attitude!!!!

    Good luck tomorrow Deb. We'll all be praying for you. I'm supposed to have my revision of my reconstruction Fri.,but I have a cold so may have to postpone. Will find out in the AM. Good luck! Cathy

    Thanks - Actually it didn't taste as bad as I remembered it. This time I used two straws. Have to tell what I asked the nurse when I picked up the stuff. With a straight face I said, " I can mix this with vodka right" He said sure and thought I was joking. So I said - "that's good" Then he back tracked and said I'm not sure. Another nurse asked and told me that I should drink the vodka first. I then fessed up and told them I don't drink. But I am having a Pepsi chaser. Love Deb

    I'm interested in how your appointment turns out. I'm not sure if I want to go through the process. My doctors wanted me to wait on reconstruction. I had a breast reduction 6 years ago and then the ultimate reduction on the left side last January. Worried about blood supply or something. Hope you are feeling better. Love Deb
