coping with treatment

my husband was Dx with pancreatic ca in August, 2000
and had 80% of his pancreas removed. he is now in
treatment. the problem is his complaining of the
smell of the radiation and chemo. i was wondering
if anyone else has that problem and i need any
help for remedies?? please help, he says he can smell it
all over the house.
