Reoccurrence and Arimidex

Has anyone experienced a reoccurrence while on Arimidex? It has spread to the right lung first and I went on Arimidex. Last month scans showed it had spread to the left lung.

    Hi, I'm new to this group, I had breast cancer 8/97 i cm lump with 9 positive nodes, surgery, chemo x 4 with adrymcin and something else, forgot the name now, sorry, then radiation,
    ok for 2 yr 5 months, had lump to supraclavicular area that was positive 1/00, went on arimedix for7 months, had mutiple mets to liver 8/00
    changed dto taxotere tx every 3 weeks x nine sessins, 2/19 will have scans and report 2/23

    Hi, Yes, I had a recurrence while on arimidex for 7 years! I lasted 10 years, but last November was diagnosed with ER and PR possitive lobular carcinoma in my other breast. Had a mastectomy in December and now starting CMF chemo. Was shocked to learn of my second cancer after 10 years. My first cancer was HER2N so this was a different type. Onc took me of arimidex and I'll be on tamoxifen after chemo.
