Hello.

My name is Greg. I have melanoma. Are there any discussion groups for this? If not, does anyone else have any interest in them. I would meet to discuss.

    Greg- my name is Judy. I was dx. wih Ocular Melanoma 4 years ago- very unusal-My type has a high risk of going to the Liver, which isn't good of course. I just had a scan today- its been a year since my last. The waiting does't goet any easier! How are you doing?

    Hi Judy. I have invassive nodular melanoma. I am normally just fine but the other day I had a scan that looks like I have a tumor. I am going in for follow up in the next few days. My attitude is very good. If you want to chat...e-mail me gnail@sky.net

    Greg--Hello my name is Pam...My very close friend had a melanoma 15 years ago....she was given a year at the most....she tok an experimental drup...the same AIDS patients take & she is alive & well today...I hope you are doing well...hers came back 3 times but has been over 5 years now & we are still praying for her..take care & let me know...PT

    hi greg my name is linda i was just diagnosed with melonoma on jan 15, 2002 and would like someone to talk to who is going thru the same thing. i am scared but hopeful my doctor says the depth is 0.35 i am scheduled to have another biopsy done on feb 5 after they cut more away

    My husband has just been diagnosed with Ocular Melanoma. I would love to talk with someone who has this type of cancer. Please respond

    High, I'm Dan, my mother has the same as yourself, ocular melanoma, but now it has matastized in her liver and lung, she starts a study on Monday the 27th. They are going to use DTIC, I will try and get her to join this talk group. She was a very healthy 76 year old. We have hopes that this might help her.

    Hi,my name is Terri and I have been diagnosed with melanoma in the last week.This is really scary stuff.I haven't been staged yet,that will happen tomorow.I would appreciate someone to talk too.

    Hi Terri, my name is matt, I hope somebody has already responded to you, but anyway, I have melanoma stage 3B and would be happy to share with you any knowledge that I have. One thing everyone says is to be positive, this can sound easier than doing it. just remember, all this misery is just temporay.

    Hello Dan:
    I would recommend mpip.org as a discussion/support group for your mom. It is a highly superior chat group for melanoma patients. It is much easier to navigate, specific to melanoma, and I think your mom will find what she needs on that site.

    Good luck and my prayers to you and she for a quick recovery and success with DTIC.

    Hi, my name is Kirsten and I was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma on april 1st, 2006 I was wondering how you are now? I'm still scared and a little shaken of the idea but, my doctor says that is very normal for someone my age to deal with this.
