How can I support my girl friend thru this?

Hi,
This is my first encounter with a discussion group and my first day on CSN.
I tried to log onto the website www.afterbreatcancer.org but without results. Do you have any information on resources for networking with both men and women who have survived cancer, and the social and emotional issues they encounter getting back into the mainstream of dating and relationships? I'm finding it difficult at best to make a connection with men, who, if not repulsed by a woman who's had a mastectomy, are afraid of losing her to another bout of cancer. I'm a two time survivor and am now ready to get on with life that I've missed for so long. It's nice to read the tributes of the spouses and significant others who have stayed by their sides, but in most cases, that does not happen, at least without much difficulty.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Was wondering the same thing
Maybe it's just been along time...I just noticed the date, but wanted to reply cuz I was so impressed that he cared so much about his girlfriend to ask for help...He's already been helping her by being a great guy....wonder if he has a brother!!!...lol -
