    Just bumping up Lisa's earlier post regarding loved ones lost this year. Last posts seem to be about August/early Sept time frame.

    Don't know all the statistics but maybe someone could fill it in. The ones recently on the board (there could be more too) are

    Eric
    Devasted's husband, age 51 on Oct. 1
    Idarochny's wife August, 2010
    Abbey712's dad on Sept. 15
    pf78248 husband David on Sept. 15

    Knew that melo72's mom was getting sicker and was hospitalized quite often, but haven't seen her post lately.

    So many tears....
    Especially when I read the whole thread, saw so many from CP6 in Nashville, and saw Donna's post....

    Can I add family? Even tho not cancer?

    My ex-hubby, David, who was still my friend passed 12/06 massive heart attack.
    My daughter, Stephanie, 1/07, 3 weeks after my ex...neglect in a care facility....

    Hugs to us all, These warriors went before us, to light the way...

    My beloved husband

    My beloved husband died October 1, 2010.
    Dx'd May 2009 with stage 4, rectal cancer.
    Father to one son, 13 years old.

    Papajedi died July 20. Diane notified us on 8/10

    Husband of Paula and father of 2 sons. John was in his 50's.
    Diagnosed November, 2008, Stage IV.

    Mom: 6-22-09 (at age: 35)

    ........there's no single day I don't think of her...I miss her as well as the rest of my family...sometimes I ask: "where did my family go???" Life is not fair at all! But I will become a scientist in the area of cancer and I will give a revenge to cancer!!!!!!! I will study very hard to reach this goal!!!!

    Add DanR to the list. He didn't have colorectal cancer, but had esophageal cancer and was on that board. He communicated back and forth with me through PM's when I was looking into going to see Dr. Cantrell in Nashville back in Nov/Dec 09. He made a post or two about Dr. Cantrell's treatment on our board back during that time. Dan passed away in January 2010.

    I am feeling pretty sombre after reading this post.
    my aunty val died of lung cancer december 10 aged 65.
    i do hate this disease even though I appreciate the life lessons its given me.
    I look back at the blissful ignorance before diagnosis.
    god bless us all living and deceased.
