    Such a sad thing to have happen. I can't even begin to say how sorry I am for your loss, and the loss of a child makes it all the harder to understand. I will pray for you guys during this difficult time.

    I am so sorry that you are both going through this horrendous time in your lives. But I am so glad you have each other to lean upon, when there really are no answers to explain why this happened. Mikey no longer has the troubles that were plaguing him here on this earth and although we don't understand why he had to leave, he has continued on with his journey. The one thing neither of you should be doing is blaming yourselves "What did I miss? Why wasn't I there for him? Was there something I could have said or done so this tragedy was averted?" The answer is "Nothing. You were. No". For reasons we don't understand, things unfold as they were meant to unfold... and as much as we don't understand them or even like them, we must learn to accept them for what they are.

    Surround yourselves with love and peaceful thoughts. Do not torture yourselves in thinking "What if..." because "What if..." didn't happen. It is going to be a tough couple of days/weeks/months to get through but you both are surrounded by the love and support of friends and family so hang in there!!
