I would think that since the liver in many of us is compromised, staying away from alcohol is probably the smartest thing to do. The nurses say 1 or 2 here and there are OK (just don't tell the Onc I said so) so I follow that advice.

    Hmmm.....
That isn't Errol Flynn in your avatar, or Howard Hughes is it Phil??? I may have the wrong dude.

Yes, I think the thing I'm going to do is stay away from it, my liver gets flareups sometimes, and my doctor said that the soreness could be the avastin working on it, strangling the vessels, so it's a good thing if I feel my liver is a little tender in that area. I can wait till chemo is over. The beer was a nice treat on Friday though, a nice small glass, and it went down sooooo gooooood.

    Hugsss!

Jimmy Buffet's "I wish I had a pencil thin mustache"

Bryl Cream, A little dab 'l' do ya!

My guess is that it's actually a headshot of a young, dashing, but angst-filled dramatist/arteest named Phil back in his days performing on Broadway with the likes of Robert Goulet and Liza Minelli. Perhaps when he was one of the leading men appearing in Camelot on the great white way?
