My husband is gone

he left this world fighting still at 6 am this morning after fighting this for 11 years. We are all relieved he is out of pain and discomfort now, but we miss him so much. We are not whole without him and never will be again. Thank you all so much for all of your support and kindness all these years, I am so deeply grateful!

    I am so very sorry to hear that your husband has passed away.  no amount of 'preparing' helps the hurt.

    I'm so sorry for you and your family's loss. I know how rough it is to lose your spouse even when you know it's coming. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Please know that the loss never goes away but it does get easier to bear.

    Ruth, I am so sorry for your loss. No matter how much we prepared, we really couldn't understand the toll the loss would be. I am sorry that you find yourself on this side now. I have joined the Sisterhood of Widows on FB and it's helpful to have others to talk to. You are in my thoughts and my prayers!!!!
