1 year NED
On June 20th I celebrated 1 year NED! My birthday is the 30th and I am so thankful to have it every year now. I go every 3 months for exams and blood work, and have had no problems at all. I am so thankful and so blessed! I just want to encourage others that get diagnosed to know, there is hope! (just a brief synopsis..I had stage 3 endometriod adenocarcinoma, had a complete abdominal hysterectomy Dec 22, 2016, 6 rounds of chemo and 3 brachy theraphy radiation treatments, finishing June 20th, 2017). Keep the faith, take one day at a time, be thankful for each day. Life is precious.

Congratulations!! So good to hear encouraging news!
I was diagnosed 4B in Dec 2017. Started 6 round of chemo in Jan 2018. After a couple of delays on round 6 I finally finished. Follow up CT scan showed NED. Oncologist scheduled a laparascopic hysterectomy June 22nd. Results still showed no evidence of disiease. Can't wait for my one year mark!

Jbird, you had chemo before surgery? Bless! I bet that was hard. How did they know you were IVB before surgery?

I will have surgery next week, with endometrioid adenocarcinoma grade 2 so far.
I am happy for your 1 year NED.
Can I ask you If your cancer was in any lymph nodes?
Have a great dayThey found it in 1 lymph node so removed that one, then took out 7 more and all 7 were clear. Anything else I can help you with, feel free to send me a message too
