Dear Cynthia and family, so sorry to hear about Ricks passing, my heart aches for you.
I wrap my arms around you and hold you for awhile. Remember all the good times you had together.
The difficult time for you is now to go the road alone and you have to be strong for the kids.
Please come back to the board and let us know how you are doing, we will all be here for you always.
Many hugs, Marjan -
I am so sorry,
I must admit
I am so sorry,
I must admit I read this post yesterday and truly didn't and still don't know what to say to you Cynthia, except that I am sorry. I know Rick meant so much to you.. your love was obvious to us all. I know this time will be hard for you.. but my hope for you is love continues on.. Just becauase someone leaves our world doesn't mean that their love is lost. I am sure you will find it all around you in ways you never thought of before. I hope you find some peace in this and this holiday season that approaches bring you both Peace and Light.
Love, Donna -

Very sorry to hear about
Very sorry to hear about your loss, and it strikes close to home as I am 46 (diagnosed Stage 4 with mets to liver, lungs, peritoneum in June 2012), and I also have 6 kids (ages 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, and 4). My wife has been my anchor in this hurricane, and I worry about how they will fare after I am gone. I hope and pray for all the best for you and your children, and again so sorry for your loss. Sounds like you had a great life together.

I am absolutely dreadful
I am absolutely dreadful with condolences, but I must say this sort of thing upsets me a lot. Only 45-years-old..? I know that life is not fair, but this constantly makes me ponder what the meaning of love is. I feel terrible for you.. the key is what you said near the end there: "I'm thankful that he was part of my life and enjoyed so many special times together."
