Don't know how many of you have tried to read and comprehend articles that are published in "scholarly" ,"professional-type" publications, so I present the following for your amusement or edification(sorry I don't know how to do links and it does take some time to enter this in menu bar).....don't let title scare you too much and after a few sentences that get your head spinning, go to "Discussion" part and try to read that, esp if you've heard of wnt or COX2......i really don't know what most of this article is about...... but it sounds interesting to me.....its at

Is Clinical Connections.com. You can see all the latest studies and clinical trials for all types of cancer. Search around a little, there is a lot going on, and it is pretty easy reading and gives all the contact information. I check there often to see if there is anything new going on by way of clinical trials.

relevant for my exercise thread. i have been pushing this for months here.
so few joined the post alas, i am exercising and not eating sugar.

Our data support the hypothesis that progression of a tumor with an inactive WNT-CTNNB1 signaling pathway might be influenced by energy intake and expenditure, whereas a tumor with an active WNT-CTNNB1 signaling pathway might progress independent of energy balance status. Although our data need to be confirmed by independent data sets, tumor CTNNB1 status may serve as a predictive biomarker for response to a prescription for physical activity (exercise) in clinical practice. Because physical activity is a modifiable lifestyle factor, our data may have considerable clinical implications," the authors write.
