    "Miracle of the White Stallions"
"Miracle of the White Stallions" - OLD Disney movie about the Lippizan stallions of the Spainish Riding School of Vienna during WWII and their return to the School after the War. I was fortunate to be at the School for their first preformance when they returned back (one of the guys who worked for Daddy had been involved in their rescue from the advancing Russian).

    Hobson's Choice. Old comedy
Hobson's Choice. Old comedy about a very strong willed, independent daughter and her alcoholic, bum of a father. Very funny. Charles Laughton is hilarious as the father. I may be the only one who loves it, but I love it!

    The Color Purple
Even though parts of it are difficult to watch, I love the ending and the theme of redemption. I cry like a baby every time.

I also love Gone With The Wind. I loved the book and Clark Gable was my first movie star crush.

    I have two.
I love Guess Who's coming to Dinner with Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn and When Harry met Sally. They are both classics. I can quote almost every line from the latter......

    Dirty Dancing
I just love Dirty Dancing and watch it every time it comes on TV. My daughter went to college at Virginia Tech and a lot of the movie was filmed at a mountain resort about 1/2 hour from there, so we went there for dinner every time we went to visit her. We would walk around the resort and I'd embarrass my family by saying "That's where Baby and her father talked in the boathouse", or "That's the cabin where Baby's family stayed", or "That's the studio where Patrick Swayze taught Jennifer Grey how to dance", etc. But my family always humored me and knew that I'd give them a running commentary every time we went there, pretending to be interested.

    like others
Like others said, it's hard to pick just one, so here are a few:

    "A League of Their Own"
    "Gone With the Wind"
    "The Sound of Music"
    "My Fair Lady"

"The Birds" was scary to me. I guess I was only about ten years old when I saw it and thought it was gruesome. Can you imagine? Oh, how things change!
