It's my Birthday!
Happy Birthday to all my September friends also!
I was born 9/9/59, which makes me 62 this year.
Last year, we were fleeing our home, as wildfires raged nearby. The sky was pink, orange, then black. Smoke was so thick we could scarcely breathe. We evacuated five cattle, two cats, and three dogs--and grabbed our passports and precious family photos, along with the kitchen junk drawer, basically.
The year before that, my band played in our large shop outside, and easily 100 people danced under the maple trees until the wee hours. This year? I'm at the beach with my black lab and husband! I arrived a few days ago, and husband arrived last night, with flowers, some tiramasu, and some godawful strawberry hard cider that hearkened to the Boones Farm Strawberry days. He drank it! I ate tiramasu.
Anyway, thought I'd pull you in to have a virtual party with me.

Mine is coming up 9/21.
Happy Birthday, Deb! Glad to see you can celebrate safefly this year. I will be 71 and awfully glad to be almost 3 years NED. Quiet celebration here, no family around. Dinner will be at my favorite restaurant who has an ourdoor patio. Happy birthday to all of the September ladies!
