COVID VACCINE BOOSTER GUIDANCE FROM CANCER TEAM

An FYI for Brain as I was diagnosed with an anaplastic astrocytoma 10 years ago but will post to other threads as well...
In consultation with my care team at Dana Farber here in Boston I was given the guidance that the current pembrolizumab regimen I am on (infusions every 3 weeks) qualifies me as immunocompromised and I should get the "booster" of the COVIOD-19 vaccine that is currently available at CVS and Walgreens, and at Dana Farber in a week or so...
As always, this is only MY experience, consult your doctors and care team for the particulars of your situation and may we all live long and properous lives!
