    Thanks for responding, are

Thanks for responding, are you receiving radiation now, or was it a long time ago?  Was your radiation treatment for pain, or to shrink lesions?  Do you also take chemo of some kind.  I was recently diagnosed with bone mets and am trying to decide on my course of treatment.  I have been advised to take faslodex injections, have you had that?  I'm also interesting in finding out about side effects from radiation and chemo.  Thank you for your response, it was encouraging.

I too had bone mets and had radiation for my right humerus and somewhere at the pelvis area. The radiation itself I didn't really have any side effects. I am currently on hormone therapy. It's for life and it's to target the cancer cells. The side effects of this medication is a bit more challenging but I'm blessed it isn't too awful. My hair sucks. I have diarrhoea almost daily but it keeps  from gaining weight ?! I feel tired and as my white blood cell count is a bit low I'm prone to infections- but haven't really gotten many ( Thank God), I get rashes on and off. I als take Xgeva which an injection to manage the cancer progression. I'm not familiar with Faslodex. That cause some aches and pains. But I can get up each day, still able to work and that's a great motivation to keep going as I love my job. I wake up daily being grateful I have another day. I'm blessed with supportive family and friends. That helps immensely.
