Hello, I just started (2 treatments) Protron Therepy radiation treatment for my prostate cancer. Part of the process is to fill your bladder before the treatment. I'm having a very difficult time being able to hold a full bladder long enough to get through the treatment completed. As most of you know you are required to not move at all while the raditation treatment is being done. Has anyone had this problem and what did you do to correct it? One thing I will start tomorrow is no coffee before treatment and maybe try not to over hydrate before I go in. What are your thoughts? |

Clamps?
Hi,
If your radiation tech allows it, you could use a penal clamp that goes on the outside of your penis during you treatment.

They gave me a clamp today.
They gave me a clamp today. Looks kind of painful. I'm hoping that no coffee and less hydration works so I don't have to use it, but if I do I will. Thanks for the feedback!
