LuLu7582 Sad News

I received a sad message from LuLu's (Louise)husband today. She passed away October 23rd peacefully by her husband's side and surrounded by many family and friends who loved her dearly. She and her husband Dan had 36 years together and he states she was the love of his love lfe. She will be forever missed.

Lulu was such a lovely and
Lulu was such a lovely and supportive and attentive friend, and her husband is so bereft. But I am certain she raised lovely children who will be a tremendous support and she lives on in them. We had hoped to meet up when she came to California, but unfortunately it's a very large state. Cancer is never fair, but she was only diagnosed two and a half years ago with stage 1 disease, and should have had decades more with her family. Sneaky ****. I miss her.

Such sad news
I'm simply at a loss for words. I came to the board hoping to read everyone was doing fine today. LuLu should have had an easier time with her stage, yet it wasn't to be. RIP LuLu, I hope you knew all of us who have read your posts loved you, as I love all the ladies on here also. Tonight, before midnight, I am going to sit outside (brr under blanket in 20+ weather) and look at the stars and wish upon them. I have written many names to wish for health and happiness, and I will include a wish for those we passed before to be in peace. Hugs

A real fighter
I reread Lulu's About Me page and she was such a fighter. This disease is so unfair as her stage 1 made it seen her battle was light. I hope we will all see more and more investigations into this type of cancer and ways to stop it before it has taken such a grip on our bodies. But for every woman on this board, our sharing our knowledge may help someone else. Thank you, Lulu, and all the others who have gone too soon.
