I just got off the phone with my oncoligist office and was a bit nervous/upset. I was just told that I need a staging ct scan before I start my next round of chemo with Xeldoa/Capectabine. I looked it up on the internet and it just confused me and scared me more. I also have been so confused on how they staged my cancer after surgery. One doctor told be one thing, then another told me something different and I forgot/afriad to ask my oncologist just what it was and what she ment by early stage cancer. 

Julie my nurse called me shortly after I did the research that got me more nervous. I asked her why the ct scan, what was early stage, and what they finally put down my cancer as. She looked up my records and told me the ct scan is for a baseline before I start this next drug. She also said that my oncologist  put in my records that it really was a stage 2b, not a 3c like another doctor hinted at. That makes me feel so much better. With TNBC it can get scary in a hurry and my options are limited on how to treat it. My first chemo did not kill it and that in itself had me worried it was worse...Now to just breathe, I am almost done with my radiaition, friday is my last day. I will have a two week break then onward! 

Julie has been with me from day one. She was there when they told me it was cancer and it was TNBC. She seems to call at all the right times and has been one of my rocks!

    Prayers going up

    So glad to hear you have someone in your corner helping you. For me, most times, it was really hard to understand and when I thought I did, I found out I only understood a part of it.  When my second cancer came I threw the biggest fit.  I told myself I did not want to learn another thing about cancer, let alone another one! 

    But you know, we move forward and we fight cause we are warriors.  Even warriors cry and have bad days and that is ok.  On those days, I pout and try to be kinder to myself.

    Do what you gotta do and be kind to yourself.  For me, I like to buy me a new pair of jammies or soft socks.  And every onece in awhile, I buy a donut.  It is the little things that make our world more tolorable.

    You made me smile! I loved the donut part! I am hoping to get a quick trip in to see my sister of the heart and get a shopping trip in. I missed my AZ trip with her so now that she is back in IL and just  3 and half hour drive I am tring to arrange it. I am thinking of you and have my calendar marked for your surgery.

    Awe thanks, appriciate the kind words and thoughts.   Might take me a week or two to get back on here after they gut me but I will be back!   I will not be so spunky but I already got a new pair of jammies to help! 

    I am glad you are getting a trip in and going shopping with your friend.  Do something silly fun but not against the law!  Hahahaha!   Please and share it on here.    We all would love to hear it.
