Clinical trials?

in Head and Neck Cancer #1

Hello,

As I posted in another thread, my husband has recurrent squamous cell cancer that has spread to lymph nodes and they cannot operate. He will start chemo Oct 22. I think we should be looking at clinical trials. Anyone have experience with that? Advice? His med oncologist at Kaiser said he will investigate for him, but I have the feeling this is something we need to do as well. Again, any advice is much appreciated.

    I went through a clinical

    I went through a clinical trial for a less harmful radiation treatment. A good thing about clinical trials are that many of the costs are covered by the research entity.
