Cytometric Cancer profiling

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone has done cytometric cancer profiling of their cancer cells. From what I’ve heard and read this is a molecular testing also called gene testing. What they do is take the cancer cells from the patient and use chemo drugs and determine which chemo is most effective against the cancer. Any input from anyone who has done this would greatly be appreciated.
